Job Description
- 5+ years of work experience using data engineering and analytics to build an enterprise
- Strong development skills in SQL and Python
- Familiarity with the AWS technical stack, Teradata, and MSSQL
- Experience with Tableau, crafting data sources, and tuning for performance
- Ability to partner and collaborate across many teams, context switching between technical discussions of databases and queries to business discussions about customer behavior and financial improvements
- Design and develop advanced data structures to support fast and efficient analytics and visualizations.
- Automate data processes using a diverse set of tools, including Amazon Redshift, Spectrum, S3, SQL Server, Teradata, Athena, and various ETL management tools.
- Serve as the technical expert for implementing innovative data solutions across the entire stack, from warehouse and database layers to analytics, querying, and visualization layers.
- Enhance performance by optimizing workflows, queries, and visualizations, including fine-tuning tools like Tableau and Quicksight for maximum efficiency.
- Create comprehensive reporting solutions that integrate data from multiple structures and sources, delivering enterprise-level dashboards, views, and customized reports.
- Maintain thorough documentation of your work and ensure compliance with data governance standards defined by the core data engineering team.
