Job Description
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field, AND 7+ years of experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field, AND 9+ years of experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Equivalent experience.
- Develops, sustains, and implements sourcing strategies for complex projects or procurement opportunities to achieve optimal costs and ensure consistent supply and service continuity. Gathers relevant internal and market data to understand organizational needs, conducts market benchmarking, and shares expertise across teams to devise and implement sourcing plans at a sub-regional level.
- Incorporates business requirements for intricate purchasing categories into the development of request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) processes. Engages with cross-functional teams to establish and oversee supplier performance metrics (e.g., key performance indicators [KPIs], Service Level Agreements [SLAs]), facilitates supplier performance evaluations, and ensures corrective measures are implemented when needed.
- Works closely with suppliers to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and mitigate risks by assessing procedural, operational, and environmental factors, identifying root causes of issues, and sharing insights with stakeholders to drive the adoption of enhancements at a sub-regional level.
- Oversees contract and pricing negotiations for a single procurement category, collaborating across teams to meet both pricing and capacity requirements. Aligns procurement strategies with organizational priorities, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and partners with suppliers to enhance cost competitiveness.
